We are excited to announce the inaugural Kids Camp for SB3C!  To make this event a reality, we have employed the services of Corporate Kids, Inc., a company that has been providing kid camps at conferences, corporate events, and more for over 20 years. They hire highly qualified staff, ensure proper safety protocols, and make sure that kids have an amazing, memorable, and fun time.

Camp Information

The camp will parallel the major activities of the conference.  Parents can purchase daily blocks (green) that parallel the scientific sessions as well as hourly times (pink) to cover additional programming. Daily blocks are priced based on the number of hours and the food provided.

They are experts in managing large groups of children, and have extensive experience with a wide variety of program types. For more information on CKE and the events they have hosted, visit their website

Corporate Kids Events program managers and staff are experienced childcare professionals, certified in CPR and First Aid, with backgrounds in education, family and social services, counseling, youth coaching, and childcare. Many of the staff have been with CKE for years, and all are experienced care providers or youth leaders. Everyone on their staff, including management, has had extensive reference and security background checks.

Staff to Camper Ratios:

Age Group Staff Ratio
0-2 years old 1:2
3-5 years old 1:4
6-12 years old 1:6
13-18 years old 1:8

Each child will be given a wristband with their name, age, and allergies to be worn while at the camp. Parents will be given a ticket with the matching number on the wristband to be used at pickup. We ask that the ticket be provided for pick up and if not available the child will only be released to a parent or guardian in the security photo taken at registration.

Allow a few extra minutes for registration/ drop off on the first day.  A short registration form will be filled out and the security photo will be taken. Once your family is registered, you will sign your child/ children into their age group and meet the staff.

Children are encouraged to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, comfortable clothes, and secure shoes. Many of the activities, particularly for little ones, involve crafts and they may get glue, glitter, and whatnot on their outfits.  Older kids may go swimming and need a swimsuit.  Camp schedules and a list of items to bring will be provided prior to the first day of camp.

We ask that phones and other electronics be left in the hotel room or put securely away in a backpack during the camp. There will be plenty of fun activities to keep children busy. We will not be responsible for any damage to electronics if they are brought to the camp.

Children are welcome to attend:

  • Welcome Reception
    • Free for kids <9 years of age
    • A reduced rate ticket is available for 10 years and older through the Camp registration link
  • BEDRock
  • Closing Banquet
    • Children are welcome at the closing banquet, but this will require a reduced rate ticket ($125). We have organized a Kids Camp event with Dinner (Block E) to overlap the banquet. This provides a more cost effective (and fun) option for kids.
